Run System Restore from XP Recovery Console

Once in the Recovery Console, just change directory to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\RSTRUI folder and enter rstrui.exe
ie Press enter after each of the following commands in the Recovery Console
CHDIR Windows
CHDIR system32
CHDIR Restore
RSTRUI

Once finished, then restart
